Best Killjoy Lineups on Fracture | Nade | Alarm Bot | Turret | Ultimate

With the design of Fracture, Riot Games managed to create a really unique map. We already explained how the map works in our Fracture map guide, but now we get to see how Killjoy fits on it. Usually all Sentinel agents are good on maps like this with tight entrances, so you should keep that in mind the next time you are in agent selection for Fracture. Team composition is a major factor and all Valorant agents have unique abilities. This is something that makes Killjoy a very versatile and valuable agent.

Best Attacking Killjoy Lineups

Attacking A Site Killjoy lineups

A Site default post plant from A Dish

Tuck yourself in this corner for proper positioning.

Aim for the corner of this building, here is the zoomed up version.

Left click a Nanoswarm grenade and it should bounce off the wall and land behind this area that is not pierceable and stop any defuses.

A Site default post plant from A Rope/ Sands

Place yourself in this corner next to A Rope.

Aim a few centimeters above the top of the building.

With some practice you can get a grenade that can stick on the side of the glass box and damage enemies on top and below the site.

But you will always have the default plant spot covered.

A Site in the corner post plant from A Rope/ Sands

This spot has started being a really common one, especially with players watching more and more pros play this map. Attackers like to plant here and play in A Main or Sands so this lineup is a must.

Place yourself in this corner. Align the bottom of your left click indicator with the two metal holes on the structure.

Left click and this grenade will land here and clear out this entire corner.

Attacking B Site Killjoy lineups

Post plant default lineup

Get in the corner next to these boxes in B Tree.

Aim for this angle next to the tree and left click.

This Killjoy Nanoswarm will land on the default plant position and stop defuses as well as cover the top part of the stairs and behind the box, leaving the enemies exposed.

Clearing site lineup

While standing in the same position in B Tree as the previous lineup aim for this edge of the leaf.

It should look something like this. Maybe you can guide yourself with Killjoy’s index finger on the edge of the tower.

This lineup lands perfectly behind the box on the B Site, which is a commonly held spot especially in higher ranks.

That way, Operator and other long range weapon users are forced out of their favorite spot. Ah that pesky German engineer did it again!

Clearing B Site Cubby from B Arcade

Align yourself with the middle of this box in B Arcade.

Aim upwards until the diamond on your right click is aligned with this corner on the leaf.

After that you just left click and this lineup will land in the Cubby on the site and force the defenders out as your teammates are rushing in.

Best Defending/Retake Killjoy Lineups

Defending A Site Killjoy lineups

A Main entrance setup

Firstly you should place your Turret on top of this box for multiple reasons. This Turret can detect anyone coming up A Main, Sands, Defender Spawn and A Drop.

You should place your Alarm bot a bit to the side, but still cover the entire entrance.

Right click a grenade so it sticks into this position and drop another one closer to the stairs.

That was once they’ve shot your Turret and have triggered your Alarm bot when entering the site, you can detonate both grenades for massive AOE damage.

You can position yourself under on top of the site and swing for easy kills as they come in. These grenades are harder to detect and shoot so this should work most of the time.

A Drop entrance setup

With the same Turret placement on top of the box, we can also execute the A Drop setup.

This lineup should be done only if you have someone committed to playing A Main. Even then when attackers push through A Dish, they will just jump over your grenades.

That’s why we place them like this. Most of the time as the attackers drop, they seek shelter from the crossfire and these grenades push them into the open.

Defending B Site Killjoy lineups

B Main entrance setup

This is the easiest Killjoy setup to execute on this map, and it’s quite effective at preventing pushes, especially in lower elos. The Turret is placed a bit to the right side, not in the middle of the Generator, so it detects an enemy after they’ve gone deeper into the Nanoswarm grenade.

You should place another grenade on the edge of the site and an Alarm bot between them.

That way you can play off your Turret or Alarm triggering, detonate your grenades and deal massive damage to the enemy team  while funneling them into the open.

B Arcade entrance

Because of how the spawn barriers work in B Arcade, there are no specific setups. Having an Alarm bot deeper in B Tower is good because it will trigger only once they are off the rope.

That means that you should detonate this grenade the moment the Alarm bot goes off.

Using the Turret in the same place as the previous setup is fine because this Turret covers B Arcade even behind the box unless you are crouching.

If you are playing off site you can use this Killjoy Nanoswarm grenade to stop pushes towards Generator. With this setup you can hold them in B Arcade even if they use Raze’s Boom Bot or other utility to clear it out.

Best Ultimate Spots for Killjoy on Fracture

Best Bomb Spot A Site for Killjoy

A Retake Ultimate + lineup

Place your ultimate ability as close as you can to this line in A Link.

After that, back up to this line and get on top of it.

Aim for the top of this diamond created by your ultimate.

This lineup will land on the stairs on the site, which is the only position the ultimate does not cover.

Meaning enemies have to take a lot of damage, get detained or give up the site.

A Drop ultimate

This is the best ultimate spot on the A site for Killjoy, but this is more of an offensive ultimate spot. That’s because no Killjoy player should be pushing up A Dish on a retake.

You are way too valuable to your team to die to a flank watcher.

Best Bomb Spot B Site for Killjoy

B Retake Ultimate + lineup

Get behind A Generator and place your ultimate ability behind this line, not behind the glass.

The glass is spammable so it can get destroyed. Place yourself in this corner using the W key, and look for this line on the A Generator. Above it, there is a diamond created by your ultimate and you should aim to be on top of the trees.

This grenade lands in B Tower and forces the defenders of the angle while your teammates defuse the spike.

B ultimates when flanking

The previous placement is done when you are retaking from spawn, but if you somehow find yourself in a situation where you are flanking, B Tunnel and B Arcade will be your best spots for the Lockdown because they will force the enemy out of the site to B Bench.
