Bodvar is an all-round stats legend, but with a bit more focus on strength and dexterity. The stance that you should use for Bodvar should be strength, because it decreases the dexterity which we don’t really need that much for Bodvar and the extra strength can come in handy.

Basics of Brawlhalla combos

There are two types of attacks. Light

Bodvar Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves

Bodvar has a sword and a hammer. These two weapons make a great starting kit. They are easy to learn and pick up but somewhat hard to master.

Bodvar’s sword signature moves and special tactics

sSig

 Sigs are often used to end a combo, finish an enemy. This side-sig finishes an opponent at ~160%. Considering it is a fast move, you can use it to punish your opponent after he whiffs an attack. It launches them horizontally.

dSig

Use this signature to punish opponents on the ledge.It has a strong down force that comes out in rapid speed, you can catch your enemies off guard easily. This down-sig finishes an opponent at ~140%. 

nSig

The neutral signature is used for catching your enemies jump. If you hit them with it on the ground it first launches them upwards for the second hit, which then sends them flying horizontally, just like the side signature. You can also use it for recovering if you do a ground cancel. Finishes an opponent at ~140%.

This is a true combo. It is good for racking up damage and it’s also a good kill confirm.

dLight > sAir 

This is also a true combo. You can use it to kill opponents on the ledge.

sLight > nLight 

This is a string (enemies can dodge out of it). You can use it to bait your opponents' dodge, zoning etc..

sLight > dLight

This is also a string. Good for baiting dodges and you can start a true combo after it.

Bodvar’s hammer signature moves and special tactics

sSig

Bodvar’s side sig has pretty good range. It’s also a relatively fast move. It sends opponents horizontally or diagonally upwards, depending on where it hits. Be careful when using it because if you miss you can get punished easily. Finishes an opponent at ~160%.

dSig

Also has good range, but only used to catch grounded opponent or when sliding off ledge to catch an enemy off guard. Very slow, which means if you miss you will get punished easily. Finishes an opponent at ~160%.

nSig

This signature also has good range and kills at earlier percentages. It sends opponents diagonally horizontal, comes out relatively fast. You can use it for a quick signature as a finisher in some strings and guarding the ledge. Finishes an opponent at ~140%

Bodvar has relatively fast signature attacks, you can use them to catch your enemy off guard on stage, and also on the ledge. 

You can also try to hit your enemies with his hammer’s recovery to throw them downwards and give yourself a huge advantage when you are on the ledge, it’s also a kill confirm if you pair it with a ground pound depending on the percentage but be careful, considering the ground pound is slow and easily punishable.
