Cassidy is a high dexterity legend, with an additional note on strength. While her defense and speed are pretty lackluster, we make up for it by using the defense stance. The speed stance gives us much less and takes away the strength which is not good. The -1 point in dexterity won't be noticeable.
Basics of Brawlhalla combos
There are two types of attacks: light and signature

Cassidy Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves
Cassidy’s kit includes a hammer and blasters. While the hammer is more forgiving, blasters are gonna need time and effort put into them to master them.

Cassidy’s hammer signature moves and special tactics
Hammer > nSig
Cassidy pulls out a lasso, slinging it diagonally forward. The opponent will get grappled, then pulled for the hammer to smack him right across his face. This is such a great signature. Good area of cover, can be mixed up with Cassidy’s kit in so many ways and so strong. But this signature kills at later percentages, it being 160.
Hammer > sSig
Cassidy swings her hammer forward, following it up with a 180 second punch. This is a two-part sig. So make sure to hit both parts. This is actually a pretty fast sig, and a better kill confirm than the nSig version, but keep in mind that this will be harder to hit and unfortunately, more predictable. Finishes an opponent at 130%. Cassidy’s signature kit is really strong so make sure to utilize that.
Hammer > dSig
Cassidy spins out and makes a dusty tornado that covers an enormous area. Huge area of cover. Not fast but really strong. Make sure to hit this as early as u can, as the later u hit it the less damage it deals. It really acts like a tornado. Finishes an opponent at 130%.

dLight > sLight
The easiest combo in hammer’s kit. While it is simple it still racks up good damage and can lead into other strings, for example, you can use the cD nLight after, which can then lead into another sLight and then into some other moves. Possible up to 80%
dLight > sAir
A great true kill confirm, but a hard one to land. You can use it after 80% when the sLight doesn’t land anymore to rack up more damage. The only downside to this combo is that it is relatively hard to hit and has a dodge window of 1. If you however practice it or master it you will be able to hit it true, but don’t worry because even with a bit higher dodge window you will be able to hit it in a real match at higher percentages. Possible up to 80-400% but only true at ~140%.
sAir > nLight
This is also a relatively hard combo because it has a very specific hit spot. It is a good option however after mid-air hit. Even if you don’t hit it true, you can still go for the nLight. Only true up to 20% but after that, you can use cD sLight to do a follow-up string instead of the nLight.
dLight > nSig
Great combo to rack up damage, and even kill confirm. This is a true combo. 0 dodge window. Use this often, possible at all percentages.
nLight > cD > sLight
Great combo that racks up damage. You can also bait out a side dodge with it. Possible up to 70%.

Blasters > nSig
Cassidy jumps and shoots 2 shots in the air. One for every blaster she has. Finishes an opponent at 150%. The side you are facing is the side the first blaster is gonna shoot from.
Blasters > sSig
Cassidy loads up a two-shot barrel shooting it straight to the side. The second shot fires a little bit above the first. Fast sig. Finishes an opponent at 150%.
Blasters > dSig
Cassidy propels herself in the air firing 6 consecutive shots. The first 2 are the ones that have the most distance between themselves. Every other shot is closer till they are almost next to each other. A massive area of coverage, slow but reliable for edge-guarding. Use this on the edge often. Finishes an opponent at 170%.

dLight > sLight
The most basic blaster combo. It is effective and great considering that the dLight is decently fast and the follow-up sLight is easy to input. You can use this combo to follow up into some dodge-read strings. Possible up to 70%
dLight > sAir
This is a great combo and also a kill confirm. Use this combo when you hit a dLight near the end of the stage so that you can confirm a sAir kill. Possible up to 70%
sAir > nLight
Is Also a pretty good combo when you hit an opponent mid-air. But it doesn’t work at later percentages considering sAir is a kill option. Possible up to 40%
sAir > dLight > sLight
The best combo in blasters kit, considering it consists of three moves, meaning it does the most damage.
Also doesn’t work at later percentages because of the sAir. Possible up to 40%
dAir > gC > dLight > sAir
String that ends with a side-air, you can use it to kill opponents when near the end of the stage. Possible up to 140%.
dAir > gC > nLight > cD > Rec
This is also a string. You can use this one to kill opponents when you are in the middle of the stage because of the recovery. The dodge window does vary, for example, if you hit the nLight with a dodge window of three, the recovery will have a dodge window of nineteen. Possible up to 140%, because of the dAir.
dLight > sLight > sAir
A follow-up after the true combo. Good for racking up damage. Possible up to 70%
dLight > sSig
Does remarkable damage. 41 to be exact. True combo too! At later % it isn’t true.

Cassidy Tips & Tricks
Cassidy is a high dexterity legend, which for blasters and hammer is a great thing because it makes some of her combos faster. Hammer’s recovery is very easy to abuse and you can catch your opponents off-guard if they aren’t careful, however it is a very predictable move! Blasters edge guarding game is great, you can spam all your light attacks and sigs and your opponent will have a hard time getting back on stage no matter what.
Blasters recovery is also very simple to use so you shouldn’t worry about recovering, but use every other recovery option before dodge so that you can dodge your enemy’s attack at the edge, unless he tries to dunk beforehand. Cassidy also has fast sigs, so you will have an additional aid whilst in combat. No matter what though you need to put time and effort in. Practice is key. Good luck!
