Best Lord Vraxx combos, strings and tips in Brawlhalla

The Despotic Lord Vraxx is a lance and blasters wielding master.

Lord Vraxx is a high dexterity legend, with very good speed and low defense and strength. The defense stat is gonna lower the strength one, so we are gonna be using strength on Lord Vraxx as it only lowers his best one - dexterity. With Lord Vraxx punishing is gonna be extra costly so every move you do must be well calculated. This might change as time goes on.

Basics of Brawlhalla combos

There are two types of attacks: light and signature

Light attacks are used for approaching an enemy.

Signature attacks are used for finishing an opponent.

Every legend has the same light attacks (if they have the same weapon), but signatures are different for every legend. Signatures are also referred to as sigs.

Lord Vraxx Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves

Vraxx’s kit consists of lance and blasters, two weapons that are not beginner friendly at all. His low defense stat makes this all the more true.

Lord vraxx’s lance signature moves and special tactics

Lance > sSig

Lord Vraxx dashes forward, charging green energy through anyone in his way. This sig has okay range but great kill potential as it kills at about 130%. It's also not that fast so be careful as you can be punished easily when missed.

Lance > dSig

This downsig charges forward, flunging the enemies backwards. While it has low range, it is a really great and unpredictable sig. One thing to make sure while using this sig, is that you should use this at the longer side of the stage because the sig flips and sends your opponent backwards. Great kill potential, same as the side Sig, finishes an opponent at about 130%. Use this when edge-guarding.

Lance > nSig

Amazing signature, the fastest one out of the three. Charging the lance, poor enemies hit by the said charged lance will be dragged to the weapon then zoomed away to the blast zone zapping them in the way. This sig could be used often when the opportunity arises. One con is that it covers a tiny tiny area, and it kills at later percentages, specifically 170%. Use this when edge-guarding.

Best Lord vraxx lance combos and strings

sAir > dLight

Solid combo considering landed side air doesn’t have any other true follow-ups except the dLight. Possible up to 30%

sLight > sAir

Great true combo for racking up damage, however it does have a dodge window of one. It is also a kill confirm, a great plus for the lance’s combo kit.. Possible at 20% but with a dodge window of two.

For this combo press the jump and the attack button at the same time for the second attack. Let go off the buttons you pressed for the sLight after it hit.

nAir > Rec

This is a string. Good for catching opponents jumps and also is a kill confirm. Easy string too. Possible up to ~250%.

sLight > nSig

This is also a string. And a very good one at that, having only 2 dodge window. Great for racking up damage. Maybe even a kill confirm at later percentages, but keep in mind this kills at a bit earlier with the sLight..

sLight > dLight

This is a string. It is great for racking up damage. Also has the side-lights fixed knockback.

sLight > nAir

True combo, very easy to do. Can be followed up and turned into a string. Some examples are sAir for the kill confirm, or Rec for the same thing. If the sAir is added at the end, this string finishes an opponent at about 130% which makes this a very good kill confirm if their dodge isn’t up.

Lord vraxx’s blaster signature moves and special tactics

Blaster > sSig

Lord Vraxx does a quick spinning charge move launching their opponent a bit vertically then, when the second hit connects all the way sideways to the blast zone. It slashes them in half. Does not cover a huge area, and its not that fast but if hit kills at earlier percentages than his other sigs. Finishes an opponent at about 130%

Blasters > dSig

Lord Vraxx powers a green energy powered ball blasting enemies vertically upwards all the way to the blast zone. Amazing signature move, great for edge-guarding. Does not cover a huge area, but is pretty fast and long ranged. Not much else to use it for other than edge-guarding though. Finishes an opponent at 160%.

Blaster > nSig

While aiming diagonally upward, green waves start connecting from his blasters. Knocks enemies to the blast zone diagonally upwards. You can mix this sig with a sLight or nLight if your opponent’s dodge is down, making this a good kill confirm. Covers a huge area and is relatively fast. Finishes an opponent at about 170%.

Best Lord Vraxx blaster combos and strings

dLight > sLight

The most basic blaster combo. It is effective and great considering that the dLight is decently fast and the follow up sLight is easy to input. You can use this combo to follow-up into some dodge read strings. Possible up to 70%

dLight > sAir

This is a great combo and also a kill confirm. Use this combo when you hit a dLight near the end of the stage so that you can confirm a sAir kill. Possible up to 70%

sAir > nLight

Also a pretty good combo when you hit an opponent mid-air. But it doesn’t work at later percentages considering sAir is a kill option. Possible up to 40%

sAir > dLight > sLight

The best combo in blasters kit, considering it consists of three moves, meaning it does the most damage.

Also doesn’t work at later percentages because of the sAir. Possible up to 40%

dAir > gC > dLight > sAir

String that ends with a side-air, you can use it to kill opponents when near the end of the stage. Possible up to 140%.

dAir > gC > nLight > cD > Rec

This is also a string. You can use this one to kill opponents when you are in the middle of the stage because of the recovery. The dodge window does varry, for example, if you hit the nLight with a dodge window of three, the recovery will have a dodge window of nineteen. Possible up to 140%, because of the dAir.

dLight > sLight > sAir

A follow up after the true combo. Good for racking up damage. Possible up to 70%

dLight > sSig

For a sig string it has a really low dodge window of 4, but keep in mind it's still dodgeable. Does great damage. Possible up to 40%

Lord Vraxx Tips and Tricks

You can abuse blasters and spam their light attack’s and Vraxx’s sigs to really get an edge over your opponent’s edge game while also making them pretty mad in the process. Rocket lance’s recovery is easily punishable considering that you have to charge it if you want to gain the extra height so be careful when to use it and how long to hold it, you can also use it as a kill option. Lance does offer a bit more options with its zero to deaths. Lord Vraxx’s sigs are great for edge guarding, and you can also mix it up with some of his light attacks, and you will surely upgrade your edge-guard game!
