Isaiah stats
Isaiah is a legend that has a huge focus on defense and somewhat on dexterity. This makes him a more forgiving legend considering you can take much more hits if you are playing with him. The stance that we are going to be using is either dexterity, or attack depending on your preference considering they don’t lower the other weaker stats.
Basics of Brawlhalla combos
There are two types of attacks: light and signature
Light attacks are used for approaching an enemy.
Signature attacks are used for finishing an opponent.
Every legend has the same light attacks (if they have the same weapon), but signatures are different for every legend. Signatures are also referred to as sigs.
Isaiah Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves
Isaiah kit consists of blasters and cannon. Both are rather tough to master, but not too complicated.
Isaiah Blasters Best Combos, Strings and Signature moves
Blaster > nSig
The blasters nSig is a great signature. It is fast, has good range, but not so much area coverage. Great for edge-guarding and strings, quite unpredictable as well! It sadly, does not hit grounded opponents however. Finishes opponents ~150%.
Blaster > sSig
Isaiah calls out his drone that shocks enemies which then allows Isaiah to “shoot” them down! This is a two-part signature but the first hit leads up into the second one, it doesn’t kill. The move has great range and area coverage and it is also relatively fast! Be careful not to overshoot it though. Good for on-stage strings and stage control! Finishes opponents at ~150%.
Blaster > dSig
Isaiah laser points and shoots to a spot on the ground, which then causes his drone to fly out in the air and drop a mini electrical bomb. This is a great signature that has decent range and good area coverage. Pairs extremely well with blasters edge-guarding kit. This is also a two part signature and the pistol shot comes out very fast meaning that the stronger, slower second hit will surely hit the opponent. Make sure you abuse it! Finishes opponents at ~135% on stage!
Best Isaiah Blaster combos and strings
dLight > sLight
The most basic blaster combo. It is effective and great considering that the dLight is decently fast and the follow up sLight is easy to input. You can use this combo to follow-up into some dodge read strings. Possible up to 70%
dLight > sAir
This is a great combo and also a kill confirm. Use this combo when you hit a dLight near the end of the stage so that you can confirm a sAir kill. Possible up to 70%
sAir > nLight
Also a pretty good combo when you hit an opponent mid-air. But it doesn’t work at later percentages considering sAir is a kill option. Possible up to 40%
sAir > dLight > sLight
The best combo in blasters kit, considering it consists of three moves, meaning it does the most damage.
Also doesn’t work at later percentages because of the sAir. Possible up to 40%
dAir > gC > dLight > sAir
String that ends with a side-air, you can use it to kill opponents when near the end of the stage. Possible up to 140%.
dAir > gC > nLight > cD > Rec
This is also a string. You can use this one to kill opponents when you are in the middle of the stage because of the recovery. Possible up to 140%, because of the dAir.
dLight > sLight > sAir
A follow up after the true combo. Good for racking up damage. Possible up to 70%

Isaiah Cannon Best Combos, Strings and Signature moves
Cannon > nSig
Great signature that is relatively fast, has great range, but somewhat lacking in area coverage. Hovewer it is great for edge-guarding and it even has a true combo! You can also pair this move with a slide and make sure you pair it with cannon’s dSig and other light attacks and you will cover the whole edge in no time! Finishes opponents at ~150%.
Cannon > sSig
Isaiah’s cannon goes rapid fire mode and shoots out a bunch of close ranged bullets which then allows his drone to shoot out a mini rocket towards the shot enemies. The signature lasts a good while and it has decent range considering Isaiah starts walking slowly, also it has decent area coverage. Use this move on stage for some unexpected hits, bait your opponents on edge etc.. Finishes opponents ~ 145%.
Cannon > dSig
Isaiah uses his drone to fly and then proceeds to shoot out a rocket trough his cannon. Pretty good move and exceeds greatly for edge-guarding. Make sure you abuse that! Great range and area coverage. Finishes opponents at ~180% on stage.
Best Isaiah cannon combos and strings
dLight > nAir
A great combo that is a kill confirm and racks up crazy damage! Make sure you practice this combo, because you will need to use it if you want to kill your opponent in the middle of the stage, because the sAir kills earlier when you are on the edge. Possible from 50-400% because of dLight’s fixed knockback. Must have!
dAir > sLight
Superb string that can lead into many others. Cannon, just like scythe is all about mixup, but unlike scythe it also has true combos which is a huge bonus. You also need to practice this string. Possible up to 100%, after this percentage the dodge window is huge.
nLight > sAir
Whilst the sAir variation does have a dodge window of 2 (earlier percentages), making it 4 frames faster than the sLight version, it does put you in a very bad position if you whiff it, hence why we think that the sLight variation is better in some scenarios, experimentation is key. Both are great strings, but however the sAir variant has kill potential at ledge. Possible up to 80% after very high dodge windows.
sLight > sAir
This string is great for racking up damage and it is a must considering it also has a dodge window of 2. Basic principle of many other complex strings, just like the next one. Be sure to use it when near the end of the stage because it is also a great kill confirm! Possible at all percentages!
dAir > sLight > sAir > Rec
One of the more complex strings in cannon’s kit. Cannon is somewhat mixup dependent, yes you could stick to some basic true combos and some strings, but complex strings like this one are the real deal. Make sure you practice it and be sure to develop your own strings!
dLight > nSig
A true signature combo. It is mandatory to hit it at a certain distance with the dLight, but it is still worth it. Make sure you practice it so you can use it as a kill option if you are in the middle of the stage, or just want to rack up some cheap damage. Possible at all percentages but it does alter the dLight “true” hitspot at different percentages, but not too much.

Isaiah Tips & Tricks
With Blasters you can spam Light and Signature moves and you will cover the whole edge. This is why Isaiah paired with his cannon has phenomenal edgeguarding capabilities. When recovering with cannon make sure you use sAir because it greatly improves your distance and chance to get back on. But don't spam it, it’s punishable. With every legend in the game you need to put the time in, practice is key. All you need now is a quick guide like mine, to get you started.
