Valorant is one of the most popular games worldwide, and riot games fps as a plethora of great agents. Viper is considered by far the best controller agent on Icebox. Without a Viper in your team comp, many players consider Icebox unplayable especially pro teams.

She provides a lot of value on the attacking and defensive side, her toxic screen is vital to finding success on both sides of the map. On Icebox Viper is a complete agent, fiding impact on defense by locking down the b site, and helping players from her team take control of different parts of the map with the toxic screen. Every valorant player should be able to play Viper on Icebox. Viper lineups are even stronger than Sova shock bolt lineups on this map since they are easier to execute.

Best Attacking Side Viper Lineups

Snakebite Attacking Lineups

A Bombsite Default Plant Lineup

A very easy and safe snake bite lineup for the default plant spot. This is one of the most useful viper lineups on the a site.

The damage of the snake bits should be enough to stop your enemies to defuse the bomb. Just stand on the box in a belt, aim to where the crosshair is placed, and do a normal throw (left-click).

A Bombsite Open Plant Lineup

Similar to the default plant lineup, this one is also easy to pull off. Since this plant is in an open location it makes it even harder for the defenders to defuse the spike.

With the damage of the snake bites the task to defuse the spike is almost impossible. Stand where the electric wire on the ground of a main does a curve, then aim to where the crosshair is and do a normal throw (left-click)

B Bombsite Default Plant Lineup

One of the best viper lineups for the b site. It's already hard to retake the b site, but this lineup makes it even harder for the enemy players to then defuse the spike.

To perform it go to the b cubby and stand close to the b green container. Then aim where the crosshair is placed and perform a normal throw (left-click).

B Bombsite Lower Site Plant Lineup

One of many new viper lineups that appeared since the new Icebox rework.

This lineup is very strong because there is no side the enemies can defuse the spike without taking damage from the snake bites. To perform it go once again to b green, aim at where the crosshair is and then do a jumping throw (left-click).

B Bombsite Default Plant Lineup #2

Another lineup for the default plant spot in the b site.

This is a safer one so it might come useful in some situations. Stand on top of the box on b green near the long gray container. Then aim at the top right corner of b yellow and perform a normal throw (left-click).

B Bombsite Lower Site Plant Lineup From Mid

One more viper lineup for the lower site but this time from mid. It’s much harder to execute than the first one so is aware of that.

You want to go to mid blue near attacker spawn, stand in the second box, and then lineup up the part of the hud that is highlighted in the image. After that perform a normal throw (left-click).

Poison Cloud Attacking Lineups

A Site Poison Cloud Lineup

A useful poison cloud to block the vision of the enemies that are playing on the back site.

This will force the enemy players to reposition and make it easier for you to take control of the a site. Stand close to a nest, then aim at where the crosshair is placed and perform a normal throw (left-click).

B Site Poison Cloud Lineup For Top Site

This poison cloud complements the attacking toxic screen to the b site I will show you below. It completely blocks the enemy players vision from the top site and forces them to change their position.

To perform this very useful lineup stand close to the box near the gray container on b green, then line up the highlighted part of the hud just like on the image and perform a normal throw (left-click).

Mid Control Poison Cloud

With this poison cloud, you will be able to gain mid control in an easy and safe way. This poison cloud will block the enemies vision to mid, making it easier for you and your teammates to take mid control.

To perform it just stand in the attacker spawn ramp and aim at where the crosshair is placed, then proceed to do a normal throw (left-click)

Toxic Screen Attacking Lineups

A Bombsite Toxic Screen

The most commonly used toxic screen on the a site.

It blocks the enemy players vision from rafters and a screen, making it easier to take control of the site since you only have to worry about the players on the back site. It’s also very useful in post-plant situations.

B Bombsite Toxic Screen

The best toxic screen for the b site.

It blocks the enemy's vision to the front part of the site, and is also very strong on post plant.

Defensive Side Viper Lineups

Poison Cloud One-Way Defensive Lineups

B Site One-Way

This one-way allows you to play more aggressively. It gives you the chance to choose between holding the right or the left side of b main.

Enemies won't be able to see you, and you have the angle advantage over them. Aim at the part of the crate where the crosshair is, and perform a jump throw (right-click).

Toxic Screen Defensive Lineups

A Bombsite Toxic Screen

This toxic screen will make it harder for the nemesis to enter the a site, and also helps the teammate that is playing on mid.

It blocks the enemy's vision of the a site.

B Bombsite Toxic Screen

A standard toxic screen that will force the enemies to push through it at the beginning of the round in order to gain control of that part of the map.

Enemies also get their vision blocked on mid.

Viper is one of the best controller agents in the game, so knowing all of her lineups in other maps is very useful.
