Immortal 1 Valorant Rank | All You Need To Know

Is Immortal 1 good in Valorant?

Well in Valorant’s Competitive mode, Immortal 1 is the lowest rank in the Immortal division. But considering Immortal players make up less than 2% of the entire Valorant player base, we would say you are pretty good!

How to rank up from Immortal 1

Play with your teammate in clutch

We can’t explain how important it is, especially at this level and when you are facing these players, to not take direct duels. In any one versus x situation, you need to be grouping up with your teammate and holding down common angles. This way even if one of you gets shot, the other could trade the kill and win the round. The last thing you want to do is split up, give your enemy multiple duels on fair ground and end up in a highlight reel.

Optimizing your setup

The common theme surrounding this topic is that it’s you, not your environment holding you back. We have thousands of gamers with expensive gear that are stuck in silver, and there are quite a few Immortal players on a laptop. But this is the elo where you being on 80 and 240 fps makes a difference. You not having enough desk space is forcing you to be a wrist aimer, and you not having a proper chair is hurting your back and your grind. This is where the hopefuls are separated from the pros and sometimes it requires more investment than time and effort.

Playing anti-flash

You might have heard of this before but if you haven’t it might surprise you. Since Valorant’s design dictates that only certain agents can have flashes, you will need to learn how to counter them. It’s not as easy as “just turn around bro”. In these ranks there will always be a player around the corner right as that flash is detonated.

You turning away means you get shot in the back. Playing anti-flash means that the player behind the entry fragger, needs to be facing the wall while pushing common flash spots. That way you can turn after the flash detonates and kill the enemy trying to play off it or at the very least trade your teammate.

Jump peeking

Jump peeking is an alternative version of jump spotting which we already mentioned in one of our previous articles. It can be done anywhere on the map and it can be a bit tricky to do successfully at the start. To do it you need to run at an angle, jump, and as you jump you want to press the opposite movement keys. This will make you jump and peek out but land you behind the cover of the angle. It requires some practice but you can use it to check angles, bait shots and utility and much more.

What percentile is Immortal 1 in Valorant?
