Valorant is a really fun game, until you start losing consecutive games in Competitive. In this article we will be discussing the Iron 3 rank.
Is Iron 3 good in Valorant?
In Valorant’s Competitive mode, Iron 3 is the highest Iron rank. This means that there is almost an entire division of players you should be better than. So far so good!
How to rank up from Iron 3
Stand still when shooting
A common mistake many players I see make, all the way up to the highest elo’s is not standing still when shooting.
Known as a “running and gunning” technique, it is a bad habit that has plagued all Valorant players at some point. But especially in lower elo’s.
Stay calm
A lot of stuff is going on in each round of a Valorant game, but the main goal is to stay calm. It might be hard to focus and concentrate at times but you should do your best. Stop focusing on the utility flying, don't panic when someone is shooting at you or when you are shooting someone.
Don't spray
This is another tip that builds upon your general aiming skills. Each weapon is different and knowing how to use each weapon is also a skill. But the common mistake many players make is that they start firing and don't stop until the clip empties.
Learn weapons
We already mentioned this in the last tip and now we will explain it further. Every weapon has different properties and you will need to learn them all to completely master them. These properties include: clip size, fire rate, damage falloff, caliber width, effective range and many others.
What percentile is Iron 3 in Valorant?
Iron 3 in Valorant makes up around 5.2% of the entire playerbase participating in the Competitive game mode. This figure is so high because a large number of players get stuck in this elo due to not having solid fundamentals.
