Gold 3 Valorant Rank | All You Need To Know

Is Gold 3 good in Valorant?

In Valorant’s Competitive mode, Gold 3 is the highest Gold rank. This means that there are almost four divisions of players you should be better than. You are entering a higher level of play after Gold!

How to rank up from Gold 3

Reposition after kills

In higher elo, information is the name of the game. A common mistake low elo players make is not rotating after scoring their first kill. Don't be greedy. Especially with an Operator. Better players will always push and try to trade you for that kill. Don’t peek the same angle twice, keep them guessing and you will win more rounds.

Have confidence

As we keep going up in elo, the difference between the players keeps getting smaller and smaller. The key to good performance in higher elo’s apart from mechanics and fundamentals, is confidence.

All those hours of training are useless if you are not confident to hit the shot when the opportunity presents itself.

Accept your flaws and improve

Sometimes it’s fine to admit when you have failed at something. If your peers are getting higher elo than you, don't be discouraged. You are still better than 90% of all Valorant players! You need to go back to the fundamentals, polish up your line ups, and work on your mechanics.

Deathmatch

One way to do what we just mentioned is deathmatch. And sure, sometimes this game mode seems irrelevant with some tilting spawn points. But there is no better way to live practice your aim, movement, crosshair placement and other in game scenarios. Hop in and start tapping some heads. No better way to get out of a slump.

What percentile is Gold 3 in Valorant?

Gold 3 in Valorant makes up around 3,5% of the entire playerbase participating in the Competitive game mode. This figure is one of the lowest elo distributions because a large number of players get stuck in low elo by not having solid fundamentals.
